I was asked by Paulo Casaca at the end of the last Parliament to take over the chair of this small intergroup/discussion forum Land Use and Food Policy which looks at the interlinking areas of CAP and food policy developments, budgetary reform, climate change and the impact of the Lisbon Treaty (hopefully) in these policy areas. 

We are moving into a period of unprecedented change in the areas of agriculture, budget, environment and institutional developments and together we can create a useful thought process reflecting our voters, our backgrounds and our expertise.
